As President, Guerriero leads the organization with passion and focused vision leading to the best overall care and service for our clients and a culture of people development throughout Experient. Guerriero’s vision in assisting our clients to transform their events and connect with their audiences is what motivates our teams to create the most innovative event experiences possible.
Guerriero oversees all aspects of Experient's full-service event portfolio including event management, unified registration and housing, exhibitor services, and venue and supplier sourcing with an overlay of experience design across all services.
Guerriero joined Experient in 1990. He was the company’s Chief Financial Officer from 1995 through 2012, and has helped navigate Experient through significant organic and acquisition-related growth. Prior to joining Experient, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a member of ASAE, PCMA and IAEE, and also serves on the Kent State University Hospitality Management Advisory Board and the St. Louis National Customer Advisory Board.
New has over 15 years of experience in the industry. At the helm of Experient’s Project Management department, Chrisse leads a team of diverse and experienced Project Managers with a particular focus on operational excellence, client consultation and innovation. She is a member of both the Project Management Institute and the International Association of Exhibitions and Events. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2006 and a 2012 alumni of IAEE’s Robert L. Krakoff Leadership Institute. In 2015, Chrisse was recognized with Experient’s Pinnacle Award, the company’s highest honor. New is a graduate of James Madison University with a BS in Kinesiology.
Godsey is a 23-year veteran of the event and tradeshow industry. At Experient, he oversees the introduction of new technology into the company’s offerings. Much of his focus has been on using technology to drive business results for show producers—such as increased attendance, effective mobile strategies and future lead retrieval platforms. In addition, he supervises the Exhibitor Services Group, where he manages Experient’s strategy surrounding lead retrieval products and services.
Blakeney leads the Meeting & Event Management team for Experient. During her 30 years in this industry, over 24 of which have been spent with Experient, she has worked in the event planning and convention services aspects of our industry and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. Blakeney focuses on the development of Experient’s Planning team to offer event management support and consultation to clients in all market segments served by Experient, and prides herself on encouraging and developing talent within this area of our organization. She has worked in our Twinsburg, OH and Washington, DC offices and now works from her home city of Dallas, TX. She is an active member of PCMA, serving on the Board of the Gulf States Chapter for several years including her current role as Chapter President. Blakeney is a graduate of Duke University.
Richards leads the Human Resources and Development Departments. She is passionate about inspiring Experient’s leaders and employees to reach their full potential through aspirational coaching. She joined Experient in 2000 and in 2010 was promoted to VP, Human Resources and Development. Prior to joining Experient, she held HR positions at PlanSoft and Gap, Inc. Richards holds an MS in Organizational Development & Analysis from Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University and a BS from Ohio University. Richards also holds an Executive Coaching Certificate grounded in Intentional Change Theory from Weatherhead School of Management. She is a certified Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR) and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
DeBrosse oversees sales and strategic account management of our association and government clients. She is also involved with Experient’s global initiative to work with international meetings held in the United States as well as assisting Experient’s clients wanting to meet overseas. DeBrosse joined Experient in 2008 as VP of the Washington, DC office overseeing the Strategic Account Management team. Prior to joining Experient, she was VP, Sales and Marketing for Projection, Inc., an audio/visual production company based in the Washington, DC area. DeBrosse has served on many local and national committees and boards and has been President of both of the DC Chapters of PCMA and IAEE. She was recognized in 2010 as PCMA’s Outstanding Member to a Chapter.
With 31 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Schirmacher leads Experient's strategic plan development and implementation, as well as industry presence for Maritz Global Events. He was awarded the company's highest honor, the Pinnacle Award, in 2005, and was inducted into the Colorado Meetings Hall of Fame in 2011 with the Lifetime Achievement Award. He served as Chairman of the Meetings Industry Council of Colorado from 2002-2007. Schirmacher is a Trustee on the MPI Foundation Board through 2020 and serves on the Meetings Industry Fund Board of Directors. Gary is a member of PCMA, MPI, ASAE and CSAE. Schirmacher is a Past Chair of the PCMA Education Foundation Board of Trustees and a frequent speaker at major industry meetings and events. Schirmacher is a graduate of the Worldwide College of Auctioneering in September of 2016.
Since graduating from Arizona State University, Scott has spent over 25 years in the Hospitality Industry. His experience brings a background in Sales, Independent Contractor Sales Management, as well as Meetings Technology prior to his current role as Vice President, Partner Development. Scott began his Experient career 13 years ago as a National Sales Manager for Conferon Global Services before moving into a Regional Director position in the ESN Division. In his current position of Vice President, Partner Development, Scott and his team manage all Supplier, Convention & Visitor Bureau, and many vendor relationships for the organization. Additionally, Scott actively participates on the Maritz Supplier Relations team collaborating on the overall supplier management strategy and execution for Maritz Global Events. His team also manages the Experient Strategic Events which include e4, EnVision and the new Maritz Global Events Golf Experience. Scott is also an active member of both MPI and PCMA.
Scott is a 27-year veteran of technology, with the last 15 years being within the tradeshow industry. At Experient, he serves as the Chief Information Officer where he oversees product development, data center operations and company infrastructure. His background in commercial and enterprise application development lends itself to the multitude of software-based products and services within Experient. He manages the Experient data center that processes millions of transactions annually as well as corporate infrastructure supporting all of Experient's locations and employees. Scott holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee and an MS in Technology Management from the University of Maryland.
During his more than 20 years of sales and leadership experience across multiple industries, Fugate’s teams and clients have consistently experienced double and triple digit growth. He prides himself on the ongoing development of people and has managed and/or coached more than 1,800 salespeople to achieve success through the utilization of proven sales methodologies. Fugate is a graduate of New Mexico State University in Las Cruces. He is PCMA CASE certified and a former member of the New Orleans Advisory Board. He is active in IAEE, holding positions on both the Emerging Trends and Awards Committees.
Smith has 35 years of sales and account management experiences from several key segments of the hospitality industry. Since joining Experient in 2002, Smith has focused his efforts on delivering cohesive sourcing strategies to a diverse mix of corporate, association, tradeshow, and enthusiasts’ events. This efficiency allows our industry partners to leverage their sales deployment while delivering our customers optimum risk management protection, and benchmarking analytics to ensure they receive the best combination of rates, terms and concessions. His greatest professional passion is seeking ways to leverage the collective assets of our customers and our internal infrastructure to improve the event experience.
